Tartan, plaid, Scottish pattern...
Tartan is the queen of the trends this autumn-winter. Known in Spanish as 'stamped Scottish' and in English as 'plaid', the tartan is a term that comes from the French. Maybe, now we call it that way because of the 'chic' of the word.
Although, in general, we refer to a type of plaid pattern, it is really a type of tissue formed by threads of different colors, intertwined, making squares and lines. This fabric of Scottish tradition was used for making the garment that men used around the body by holding it in the shoulder with a brooch.
Either way, this trend is causing such rage these days it is rare not to find at any store.
From suits to skirts, pants, coats and accessories. Do you think it's essential to have an item in your closet with this trend?
