Although it seems an exclusive trend for this season, in fact, Salvatore Ferragamo was who invaded the catwalks with the tissue 'houndstooth' ... two years ago!
Commonly it is called 'print', the same happens with the 'tartan'. Neither of them are printed: both are types of fabrics formed by threads of different colors.
The fabric 'houndstooth' consists of intertwined threads of two colors (one light and one dark) creating very characteristic shapes called differently depending on the language: 'pata de gallo' in Spanish, 'pied de poule' in French and 'houndstooth' in English.
While it is keeping the black and white color, patterns emerge in other colors.
In our recompilation we have tried to show different garments, shapes and products in this fabric. We hope to inspire you to combine it following your own style.
As always, we recommend you visit the original looks that we offer on the link below each image.
It’s worth it.
